| OBITUARY |
Glodwick Cricket Club has been saddened to learn of the death on Saturday 26th November of Mr Geoff Pearce. Geoff was a life member of the club and served as Treasurer for over fifty years, spanning the period when the club reformed after the second world war until early in the present century. He remained as a Trustee of the club until his death. His connection to the club is maintained by Richard, Kim, Andrew and Rachael and our sympathies lie with them, his widow Edith and the rest of his family. |

Glodwick Cricket Club based in Oldham prides itself on its vibrant and expanding youth set up and friendly atmosphere. We are proud to hold ECB Clubmark status and also proud to boast an excellent youth set up. We have teams at all ages from Under 9s to First XI in the Saddleworth and District
Cricket League. In the 2010 season the clubs 1st team finished 4th in the Division 1 and qualified for the LCB Trophy. The 2nd team finished 3rd in the Division 2.
We are looking for new sponsors for the coming 2011 season and details of the sponsorship packages can be found on our sponsors page.
